Recently Hubspot created a music video based on ‘Oughta Know’ by Alanis Morissette featuring the life of a disgruntled office employee that is frustrated with her company’s inability to see the effectiveness of inbound marketing techniques versus traditional outbound marketing. It goes on to discuss the benefits of using inbound marketing techniques such as blogging, search engine optimization and social media over those caveman techniques that many companies still employ like cold-calling. Cheers to Hubspot with their excellent video campaign, hopefully they can open more eyes to the necessity of inbound marketing.
